That's very funny. Abraham is only doing what is rational. That article is certainly a good example of partisan Dem journalism. And its point is illogical. Abraham no longer receives political contributions. He's not running for anything. THink for a moment.

The US has spent what? $20 billion on Yucca mountain and the special interest groups that control the Dem party don't want the US to use it. So why then, didn't Clinton stop wasting taxpayers' money? Because the Dems want to make political hay. That's how Reid got elected in the first place. The Dems are demagogues.

Meanwhile, nuclear waste is scattered around the nation, subject to terrorist attacks.

btw, the reason Yucca Mtn is necessary is because failed prez Carter made, by executive order, Like they do in most other countries with nuclear facilities. So Carter's decision made little or no sense. it US policy that nuclear waste cannot be reprocessed. So the reprocessing industry died and no one will ever make that kind of investment again when they can lose big by the mere signatiure of a cras, politically motivated politician like Carter.

Who bought Carter's decision? That was worth untold billions. Unlike Abraham's.
