claude,

Until the USD collapse, there will be no bull.

The us dollah is the king of all fiat money. Its accepted everywhere in preference to local currency. If need be, Greenspan will pump the money supply as much as required to not only keep America floating in money, but the rest of the world....the economic misery that would fall upon the masses in a collapse of the USD will not be allowed to happen for a while yet. Now that the money supply can be increased digitally or virtually, there are no longer any physical constraints on priming the economic pump. If need be, Greenspan would fill every swimming pool in America with $100 bills if that is what it takes and that day may someday come:-)) As for the POG, I don't see a sustained upward movement until the G-7 central banks and commercial banks quit being the market makers(and profiteers as they can write more covered calls and sell into expiry than anyone) and demand convincingly outstrips supply.
cheers,
teevee
