AV8R and John -- The asbestos liability list should probably include at least half of the Dow Industrials (e.g., jury verdict against Honeywell last week) and perhaps 1,000+ companies total. The tort lawyers control the agenda of our U.S. Senate, and accordingly no relief can be expected until 2003 at the earliest. In the interim, more litigation and more jury awards are inevitable. The tort lawyers and their legions of "experts" and medical witnesses (who collectively consume 50% of jury awards) will focus on their self interest, and the process will destroy the golden-egg goose of our economy.
