Women priorities: 1st) Reproduce. Then some male characteristics prevail 2nd) Professional realization. At this points those characteristics (appearance + capability to support the offspring) in males have no reason anymore. Thus the confusion. Split the women's priorities and then things become more clear. The older a man gets, meaning the more he loses his appearance, the more he emphasizes the other -financial- capabilities.
