Tom, I feel/hope there is more follow-thru.

This is option expiry week, and it looks like
the market is going to be on fair, to good
footing going into Friday. Of course my crystal
ball is as cloudy as anyone elses. But the fact
that Nortel's announcement didn't tank the tech
sector more than a smidge is something I take
as a good sign. The key is not to overstay our
welcome here.

I think the US is on good behavior while the
Olympics are being held in Salt Lake, but
after that, I take Bush at his word, that his
administration is a war administration, and his
budget is that of a war budget and that some
type of action will be heating up in the Middle
East....soon....ie, significant event risk still
exists. Obviously, terrorists are still looking
for an opportunity to strike at us so the event
risk runs both ways. That's my take anyway.
