I have fear with my short trades. I do also. I fear them to the point that I watch them like a hawk and watch the chart waiting for any indication I should cover. I've not been caught by a halted stock yet (knock on wood and I am sure some day I will) but I don't take big hits on shorts because I don't let it happen. So now splain to me why it is I'm not that careful and am sometimes downright careless with long positions?
