I've seen some reports that Ford and the GAP retail stores are candidates for credit downgrades. Some smaller credit watch firms who are more nimble and less beholdin' to business got the jump on the Enron mess by about a month.

Ford had two crisis, the Explorer/tire fiasco and then the departure of Nasser and his premium car obsession.
