Have you tried the eSignal prebeta yet, Dan? The charting has been completely revamped, and now you can chart your own custom indicators with the formula language. The new eSignal uses less memory than the older version, it seems, too. The charting is a lot more intuitive, with a lot of click and drag features, and the program runs like a charm.
I've got my favorite support/resistance levels charted, my complacency indexes (based on volatility/demand for puts & calls), and all sorts of other things. The language, JavaScript, makes a lot possible. The charts look terrific. You can color code crossovers, etc., too. Downright addictive, the whole thing is.
And it's just in prebeta form. A lot more improvements are planned. Matt Gundersen has done a fantastic job developing the new formula language. Customer support is excellent, too. It's great being able to do so much in one real-time charting and data program. |
