If I am not mistaken, the Ozzies got rid of 167 tons out of the 247 tons they originally had to hold only 80 tons! I am not surprised by the event as Australia's attitude towards gold is the same as that of USA/Canada! Furthermore, the Ozzies need cash for their state welfarism and other government projects. Some people thought that the gold was probably sold to Japan, its strongest trading partner. Cheers! Richnorth
