OT Olympics:

I saw one event the other day. Skiers skiied down a bunch of moguls. Then they hopped off of a short ramp at the bottom of the moguls and did some unimpressive twists and turns. Scoring seemed to be via judge.

Could some please explain to me why this combination of seemingly unrelated activities deserves to be a medal contending "sport"? And what the hell were the judges scoring?? The moguls or the jump?
