Amex to Trade Options on iShares Nasdaq Biotechnology Index Fund

NEW YORK, Feb. 12, 2002 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) will launch trading in options on Wednesday, February 13, 2002 on the underlying shares of iShares(SM) Nasdaq Biotechnology Index Fund (IBB).

iShares Nasdaq Biotechnology Index Fund options will open with strike prices of 70 -- 75 -- 80 and position of 13,500 contracts. The options will trade on the March expiration cycle, with initial expirations March, April, June and September. The specialist will be Susquehanna Investment Group.

The iShares(SM) Nasdaq Biotechnology Index Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the Nasdaq Biotechnology Index.
