Joey,

These things never hold up in court, but they do serve a purpose. They can buy you time to find a white knight if someone is making hostile moves, they can also attract attention to the company and perhaps increase interest and liquidity. I sure hope nobody is really looking to take them out at this stage, that would be a real shame.
