Biotechs Bouncing...from John Murphy today... BIOTECH INDEX UP 5%... In a generally quiet market day, biotech stocks are showing surprisingly large gains. The Biotech Index has jumped 25 points today (5%). Chartwise, there are signs of encouragement. A six week down trendline has been broken. The 14-day RSI has turned up from oversold territory under 30. Most importantly, the daily MACD lines have turned positive for the first time since late November. BIOTECH LEADERS... Below are three of the top percentage gainers in the biotech group. All three have stayed above their September low, which hints at a successful retest of that support.
