I know you'd like to think it was, and I thought it was for a while, but I deal with some people who do national support of large numbers of SUNs, and they tell me it was not a problem. I've seen SUN's in situations you wouldn't believe, that should have been upgraded years earlier, and that run at 90% plus for 40 hour stretches without problems - other than being way too slow. SUN stuff is very good. It's expensive, and I personally don't care for it (I don't think it's worth the money, and the SUN guys can be arrogant). But SUN hardware and software is very good.
