Ah, Cat, you are missing the point. Look forward. That is what markets do -- they are forward looking discounting mechanisms -- look at the future. It is laughable to hear tech investors dissing gold -- gold has going for it the only thing that got the Nasdaq over 1000 in the first place -- it is positional. Gold can succeed where tech was a miserable failure -- it is what the tech investors really wanted and thought they had -- an investment devoid of any meaning other than what people are willing to pay for it.
