Charles,
FWIW, I am in your camp, but I try not to make any comparisons to '87.The charts are unbelievable! All the contrary indicators are in play. Everyone seems to have totally ignored the long list of companies warning about not meeting earnings ests. Breifing.com has a long list of companies to announce before the 18th. If a couple of the big players don't meet/exceed what do you think might happen? I had traded a few puts successfully this month but I am not proud to admit I couldn't resist buying a couple late Tuesday (what an idiot!)But at the risk of trying to rationalize, I find it hard to believe that something(whatever that is) will cause this meteoric rise to change course, however breifly that may be. Monday will probably go higher barring any events over the weekend, but over the next couple weeks I believe that the risk outweighs the reward. Those talking up bonds are probably wise when it comes to a lot less risk.

JMHO

Good luck and thanks to all for the posts.

Barbara
