De Gaulle, although a pain in the ass, was not a whore. He was a great man, who salvaged the honor of France and healed many wounds in the post- War period. Some of his behavior, like de- linking French forces from NATO, or blackballing the UK from the Common Market, were inexcusable. But he was the one man whom all parties respected after the Liberation......On the Olympics story, well, that is just disgusting......
