Astrikos is a nice free site for following various indices. astrikos.com Right now the VIX and VXN are low enough to suggest an absence of fear and an excess of complacency. Supposedly 75% of options expiration weeks are positive, and that is proving to be the pattern thus far this week. My best bet is to short the QQQ's this week, and cover when VXN shows a steep increase. I have been getting whipsawed on individual shorts and seem to do better with the indices.
