It probably gets down to our interpretations or definitions, but I tend to characterise a sceptic who has not "thought it through" as agnostic and not atheist. That is to say, you can't be sure without thinking it through. I suppose there exists a class of atheist who claims certainty on an emotional level, but that again brings up interpretations of "certainty".

It seems the trend is toward feel good revivals with a rock beat.
Did they ever find that Higgs boson?

I don't see where this post makes a stereotypical statement, just one statement about a trend with no indication whether it was major or minor and a couple of pointed questions.
