Hi everyone:

Happy 4th! Remember what it's about.

I know the regular posters here spend a lot of time getting the data down to the posts that appear. We all use methods that have worked well enough for us to still be in the business. No one here (except Last) knows more than all of us together. I trust my picks because I have been doing it for well over 40 years. But if Joe, Jenna, or Last name a stock you can bet it gets my research attention and it goes into my database. I don't much care about scores and track records because I don't much believe in back testing. You can only put your foot in the river once. Everyday is a new day, and every position is subject to all the randoms that can effect a trade.

Win, lose or draw, I am only going to be posting my actual positions or real intentions/intraday trades from now on. I tend to trade frequently and in very few positions. I will often "bet everything" on a single position with margin...so I think I am more of a gambler than the others. Just so you know, you may be safer with the other's picks. This is my fulltime 7 day a week thing. In the past 40 years, I have twice made over one million dollars in short periods by taking very large positions in single issues. Looking back, I probably would not take the same positions today because luck played a bigger part in the results than skill did.

What we have here in this thread is the ability to build informed consensus using what N. Hill called "the mastermind" and others have called "groupthink." Whatever, a lot of data gets filtered thru a lot of equipment and brains for the rest of us to look at and act on if we individually see fit.

So we are all free, on this 4th of July to pay our own money (plus margin) and take our own chances (but, with a lot of help from our friends) thanks Last, Joe, Jenna, all...God Bless America!!
