ROTFLMAO -- there are two possibilities: 1) for the remarkable array of stocks that fell between 90% and 99%, the people making profit projections were complete and absolute idiots (I don't deny this is possible), or; 2) The stocks traded as high as they did because they had small floats and could be squeezed to the stratosphere so long as nobody really bothered with the mundane business of calculating anything like realistic future financial prospects (this is the more likely explanation of the two, but it is not in serious conflict with the complete idiot pricing model mentioned in #1). One way or the other, tech stock valuations became completely and unsustainably disconnected from all reality -- that is the definition of a bubble.
