davidd, Where to you dock your yacht? <VBG> Guess you get into the T/A -F/A argument. I think you need both unless you are strictly daytrading for scalps. Problem with T/A is that the MM and Specialist are aware of it too. T/A is re-active and F/A is more proactive. Technical folks need the fundamental players to be proactive to produce the charts that the techs trade off of. I have subscribed to a couple of T/A types and they don't do well in down turns. I don't know if the T/A popularity won't wain in a long bear market. Using both you can pick extremely good stocks or extra bad to short and with T/A find better entries. Using strictly T/A you can try to trade a good stock down or vice-versa and end up on the wrong side.
