Lets not get mental William.
Whether Israelis live better than the whole Arab world means nothing and is not germane to the argument. The same argument was used to prop up Apartheid in South Africa. Keep in mind, that Israel, a western colony, should have a better standard of living than the native population.
Ever see the Panama canal zone? Same thing. Shacks on one side, nice homes on the other.
As far as starting wars, the Zionists started the wars, first by importing weapons and people into Palestine to overthrow the British and to intimidate the Arabs and even some Jewish Palestinians.
The establishment of the State of Israel was an act of war against the Arab world. Whether they were not satisfied with 1967 or 1948 borders is not the issue. The issue is why should people from half ways around the earth, who claim to be Jewish (more probably they are secular, non-Jews such as yourself), and lay claim to land based on Bible stories and superior firepower? Praise the L-rd and pass the ammunition?
To frame the argument based on a premise that this Jewish State process is a given indicates how blind you are to the implications of Zionist actions and the Arab's reaction.
You would not sit still for it, but you sanction those actions on others?
And then turn around and say that others are hateful if they do not see it your way? This is part of the persecution strategy, I mentioned previously, that Zionists such as yourself employ. |
