For what is worth, my mother was born in what you call Palestine, and my wife and son are Israeli. I may not be orthodox but I go the temple as often as many Christians go to Church. I believe in G_d,and try to be a person who lives by my concept of the book.
As far as Israel as a state entity goes, you may be right that in time Israel will cease to exist. We've lived through Masada once, we can do it again. But it will be Arabs that kill us and people of that religion will suffer the consequences. There is and should be a Masada plan. I expect that one day we will put it to use, sad as that may be! |
