Thanks Crusader. Very interesting.

So if I read Gersh's post correctly, he says the S&P has just closed 2 points above the upper tine meaning, presumably, that the index has broken out upwards. It's not easy to see it on the chart, however.

I haven't seen those pitchfork charts for years and had completely forgotten about them.
