A drop of one notch is a lot. The warning that the rating could go lower is not good. I am not going to continue to post more about the rating process. Background includes getting highest commercial paper rating available for a financial institution from the top three rating agencies. when this was cut from A+ to A, we considered it major. For years Moody's was my least favored agency but that changed when new people were assigned to us.

*the letter codes used by the the 3 vary. Just indicating that a + or - is a big deal and one full letter is major. The direction of the move is what makes it a big deal. It is almost better to never have had the higher rating than to project that there has been a change in a negative direction. Speaking in general and not about ELN.
