Olympic judging without bias or ulterior motive seems idealistic. Even if the judges were sincere, nobody would believe them now. The gold winners were good but clearly second or even third. Their medal was fool's gold. How to cure this?
How about 1) no nationality shown for judges 2) maximum of 3 judges chosen at random in a draw for each event 3) judges in cubicles (with no tv) where they can't see the scores of their colleagues.
Who would want to be a judge now. The Olympics should not include subjective judging.
