Ibexx, My first post here. You seem bullish on JNPR. I would like to either get talked into the idea that JNPR is going to bounce back, and do really well going forward, or else that it is going to get put out of business - so I can forget about it and move on. Can you help?
Seriously, this stock (the range that is) and company have been incredible, but recently it has been very puzzling. Somehow this little company took major market share away from Cisco, and had earnings that held up during this downturn, despite Cisco earnings falling so much. Then, it all seemed to go down the drain at once, starting with Cisco announcing they were taking market share in the fall, followed by a JNPR warning, and then evidence they are loosing a lot of market share, and all that concurrent with a big dive in the stock. I wish I understood what was really going on here.
The book, the Gorilla Game, speaks of how little companies in technology tend to get squashed over time by the big boys. Why, I wonder, is that not going to happen to JNPR?
I hope Gibson is an outstanding product. It better be, or the Gorilla Game, may play out once again.
Any thoughts or comments anyone?
Best of luck to all,
