If things are as dire as you say, why do you ever assume we will get prompt and full disclosure, and that records will not be altered or destroyed? If there were such a nefarious cabal of evil doers as you posit, they are manufacturing the record even as we speak. You will never know what is going on. Only if you can trust them does your scheme work, in which case it is unnecessary, and the current scheme of oversight will suffice.........
