tidbit on gold/silver: controversial on size of futures in November, the total value of shorted silver futures contracts was TRIPLE all the known stored silver in the world yet, COMEX and CBOE allow such wild shorting and artificial suppression reminds me of MarketMakers whose combined shorted shares for smaller stocks sometimes eclipses the known outstanding supply I believe this metals market will become unraveled watch little Silver Standard Resources (SSRI) silver should easily outperform gold, but lagged / jim
