1:47PM Entergy hit amid 'small' nuke plant leak (ETR) by Tomi Kilgore

Shares of Entergy (ETR) is hitting fresh intraday lows, trading down 42 cents, or 1 percent, at $40.80. At its intraday high, it was unchanged at $41.22. The Associated Press is reporting that a radioactive coolant is leaking from a steam generator of the Indian Point nuclear power plants in Buchanan, NY, but net enough to cause any danger or slow down the plant. The report quoted Larry Gottlieb, an Entergy spokesperson, as saying: "It's very small. It's being monitored. There's no danger." A company official noted that the allowable limit of radioactivity is 1,000 times more, the AP reported. The plant is located approximately 35 miles north of New York City.
