it's also a function of the relocation of fabs to China. it'll be interesting if the orders keep up after the relocation is essentially complete. China doesn't stop expanding capacity in downturns. They actively pursue increasing unit sales and market share. we went down this debacle with Japan, Korea, etc. in the mid 90s. read a Japanese journal that they're eventually expecting the yen may get as low as 350 yen to the dollar. they were predicting 180 yen by 2003-2005.
