Re: DELL's PE DELL has about 300 patents. Not bad for a commodity vendor. Also, the reason DELLS PE is so high is that their growth rate is close to 61% year over year whereas CPQ has about 17% growth rate. So it is only growing at 3.5 time the rate of CPQ. CPQ's PE is close to their growth rate while DELLs PE is about half its growth rate. IMO, you have been losing money because you have been mis analyzing the company.
