Didn't you just answer your own question? Per Unicom, "the first phase, which had an investment of 24 billion RMB, reaches a network capacity of 15.15 million subscribers, covering 330 cities and 2200 counties in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities."

You may not see that as big in terms of market share, Jorg, but it's huge in terms of sheer numbers of subs and the revenues that will be derived from chips and royalties.
