I was watching Alan Keyes the other day, and he was doing a show on terrorism. The guest analyst was really good. He led off saying that terrorism in the Middle East, especially against Israel, was started by the Soviet Union. I have said that before, and I agree with it.
I have also seen and documented some connections between Carlos the Jackal and Osama bin Laden, via Black September, the premiere Soviet terrorist organization.
The Palestinian terrorist orgs were started by the Soviet Union, which no longer exists. Now, they are getting their weapons and support from Saudi Arabians, and Iran. Iran and Iraq are getting their weapons from Russia and North Korea, which gets their weapons from China.
So, what I am trying to say is, I think the terrorist organizations are the de facto PA.
And while we are currently pursuing the destruction of the al qaeda, it is not by choice that we will also be pursuing the destruction of terrorist organizations that control the PA. |
