Days like this make me think seriously about giving up day trading. Not only the wilds swings, but a software crash at the open, so I couldn't trade. Missed the whole first hour trying to re-install the J-Trader and get it working. Had hoped to buy at the gap fill this morning, but didn't end up getting into the NQs until 1501. Unfortunately, held on to them until 1490, then flipped short at 1492, but was stopped out with little to show for it. Went short again when the lows broke, only to watch it run right back up. Broke even on that, shorted again, got underwater again, finally said, screw it, I'm staying short. This looks like a bonafide reversal day back to the downside to me. The downtrend has re-asserted itself, despite efforts to jam the close, and marginally push the DOW over the sacred 10K mark.

Where's Shoreco? Where's Susan G? Get the bears back in 'ere.
