It seems the deal for TSL to acquire Merendon is going ahead. This means the big question is, what has Merendon got? Having seen some presentations from Merendon President Gary Sorenson, I would say that this company is one that everyone should do some due diligence on. Every indication is that they have a fantastic opportunity ... We'll have some time to consider it while the ASE approves the transaction. Could take a few weeks. Perhaps we will see some of the results from Merendon's work on the property. Sampling has been very good and placer production from the river is significant and shape of particles indicates the source is near by. 100,000 ounces per week is being taken out of the river by locals during high season. That gold will be the feed stock for Merendon's proposed production facility in Tegucigalpa. Company is going to start drilling some targets to see if they can find the source ...
