Questions-I read somewhere net assets in Rydex funds have decreased

and that it is not a reliable indicator anymore in terms of comparisons to the past. Is this true? I just can not remember where I read this. Yes, I also remember reading that it represented a little more savvy investor but again, I think it is a SUBSET of the whole picture, which is complex to say the least.

A few questions..

The significance of asset levels/rotations-Don't they also depend on who the current players are? Sure, someone may say the same mistakes are made over and over but sometimes that may not also be necessarily true, don't you think so?.

How about if the players remaining in these funds are different from or are a subset of the old players? I am just throwing up possibilities.

How can all this be accounted for in the asset levels? imo I do not think asset levels and changes/rotations can ever reflect this.
