RR: I had lots of fun skiing... Did a little 'shreading' with my sister and her new fiance -- they are are in great shape and tough to follow through the bumps. I rented some demos on this trip (some Rosi Bandit skis) and they were great for carving turns. We had a great birthday dinner for my father at The Ski Tip Lodge near Keystone -- they have amazing multi-course gourmet meals and it was within walking distance from the townhome where we were staying with some family friends. I could highly recommend Gastof Gramshammer in the Vail Village -- the potatoe pancakes with applesauce are out of this world. The owner was a famous olympic skier and he now runs annual week long ski clinics... wedelweeks.com pepis.com pepis.com I'll have to head down Gore Creek more and explore next time...it would be fun to visit sometime when you're in the area.
