pgo news was out yesterday (2/13/02). the volume was Huge yesterday. restatement actually gave pgo higher and lower earnings over past years!! impact is quantified fairly precisely in this quarter. after reading the news from lots of sources yesterday, it appeared to be really a benefit to pgo in the past and going forward. it had something to do with hedging of norwegian krone in the past. the main impact may have to do with the merger that is in progress. pgo looks like a buy to me. let us see.
