Jon, what type of modem are you using?Is it Mot,LANcity,Com21? I understand sometimes you go through the internet,have you noticed less direct internet and more proxy servers? Have you had any upstream problems with either speed or interference? Personally I believe the TWX is much less tecnically adept than COX or UMG(MediaOne). I still believe the best cable companies in North America are Rogers in Canada,COX,and then UMG. I also believe overseas is much more agressively installing HFC. I own HLIT,and know that they have installed HFC in Hong Kong and Buenos Aires. VCC in Argentina is 50% owned by UMG. Well has @Home said anything about alternative modems? Is the MCNS standards allowing use of multiple modems and technologies? I here Com21 has the fastest modems, I here that either LanCity or MOT Cybersurfer are the best. Hiram
