here some more news.

WESTERN PACIFIC AIRLINES INC (up 5/16 to 5-13/16 at 9:33am EDT)
said late Monday that it would acquire FRONTIER AIRLINES INC (up
3/16 to 4-1/16), exchanging 0.75 shares of Western stock for each
share of Frontier. The companies said both their boards' had
approved a definitive agreement on the pact, which they said would
give Frontier stockholders about 31 percent ownership in a combined
company. They said they had targeted August 1 to begin an interim
code share arrangement. Spokesmen for the companies could not be
immediately reached Monday evening for further comment. (Reuters
