I see we differ on the Vagina Monologues. Differ wildly, in fact. I think Ensler has virtually no talent beyond self-promotion and a feel for what's trendy. She is also very good at exploiting political correctness.

I have no doubt she believes she is an artist speaking truth, though. I consider that a delusion on her part.

P.S. Where do you get the idea that Doctorow is a socialist? He's a classic ADA liberal, a long-time anti-communist, a first amendment militant. Has he issued some manifesto I missed?
