*OT* Iso,

Must confess my tastes have been very pedestrian the last few years. With two small kids, I've listened to more children's music than anything else (if anyone is looking for a great children's album, try Judy Collins' Baby's Bedtime - gorgeous stuff). Know more Barney songs than I'd care to admit.

My own listening - too much rock, folk and R&B from the 50s, 60s and 70s - still love listening to that stuff. Have played Abbey Road quite a bit since George Harrison died. Would probably list as personal faves early Elvis Costello, '50s-'60s Sinatra (Sinatra-Basie is my favorite), and a good aria from a classic opera. Play a little acoustic guitar - and have had to learn a lot of children's songs the last few years to keep playing it. -g- Fortunately my kids like Elvis (Presley, that is) and Buddy Holly... I'm sure I'll think of more I should have mentioned after I hit the 'submit' button. -g-
