I hope you are right. In my opinion many american "public" companies are "public" in name only. In actuality they are the personal piggy banks of a select few in management. Executive compensation in these companies is out of touch with any reasonable standard. Personally I am also surprised that big pension funds and fund managers have not made a big stink about it. We need them onboard to bring about a change in that area.
