Just being announced on CNBC.........the Canadian pairs skaters, previously awarded the Silver, have had that medal upgraded to a Gold.....they will share the Gold with the Russian pairs. Its worth noting that in spite of the fact the French judge's actions were suspect with the allegations of 'medal fixing', the Canadian skaters in question continued to be gracious in their second medal status. They had every right to be critical and yet continued to state that they were happy to be receiving any medal period.........a gold medal performance on and off the ice. ted
