You don't have to physically take it away. I don't think they even have it yet, but if they do they can be stripped of the official title without getting possession of the medal.

I didn't say it was evil, just silly.

If you can prove there was cheating (by the judges) and the rules allow for changing the outcome later then you can give the Russians the Silver or nothing (if the skaters where involved but there is no evidence they where).

Otherwise the Canadians should get the Silver.
