So, why is it that I, a male without a bunch of girlfriends; a conservative who is not PC; someone exasperated with some of the problems raised by E; and seeing it on tv, rather than in the theater, mostly liked it? By the way, gao seng kind of liked it too. I guess we could just have a taste for schlock, but is it likely that we would like somewhat "womanist" schlock?
