RE: COT Looks like they got less long on gold. They didn't even flinch with their huge short positions, though. cftc.gov It certainly seems that they don't believe in this rally anywhere near the way the bears and gold bugs believe in it. What would cause them to unravel their short position? A strong move above $300 gold or will they wait until a a retest of the bottom?
