<< According to World Bank figures, 90% of the water in the West Bank is used for Israel's benefit and only 10% remains for the Palestinians. >>

Do you know why the Palestinians don't complain? They seldom use water for bathing or washing clothes, so they don't need it.

OTOH, did you know that Palestinians build their bathrooms on the second floor of their homes, and have no connection to a sewer line? That allows the waste water to frequently drip down to the first floor. They have never been able to figure out where the water comes from, and so most Palestinians feel that the water and brown lumps, that drip down, are a gift from Allah. I have witnessed this many times, during better and safer times.

The moral of this story??? The next time you are invited to eat at a Palestinian's home, definitely don't drink the water, and DON'T ask what the meat sauce is made from. <g>
